Tim Challies has just written an excellent post.  He plays off the idea of sportsmanship and makes a great case for “churchmanship.”  A good “churchman,” Challies says, is one who:  is committed to a community of Christians, pursues opportunities to serve, is active in discipling others, demonstrates steady growth in his own life, and submits to the leaders in his own local church.  It’s a brief piece, and definitely worth reading.  Check it out here.
